The talk titled “Economics of Aromatic Plants” will be held on December 24, 2025, between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM, in Classroom L201, MMF/STF Campus.
Moderated by Assist. Prof. Selda Karahan, a faculty member of the Faculty of Art and Design, the event will feature Sabriye Kocabalkan, Founder of Istanbul Gastronomy and President of the Tourism Destination Management Association (TDYD). The talk will explore the role of aromatic plants at the intersection of gastronomy, tourism, and economics, focusing on sustainable production, value-added products, and sectoral opportunities.
The event is open to all interested participants.
