The panel titled “Recognizing Silent Violence: Awareness of Discourse and Behavior in Professional Life,” organized by the Social Contribution Coordinatorship, will take place on March 5, 2026, at the Kavacık Schools of Higher Education Campus Conference Hall.

The panel will address forms of violence that emerge through discourse and behavior in professional life and often remain invisible. It aims to provide a multidimensional perspective on the issue through the lenses of law, public administration, the private sector, and academia.

The speakers of the event will include a KADES representative, Attorney Nurgül Öztürk İpek from RNS Law & Consultancy, Gülçin Üçer, Director of Provincial Correspondence at the Istanbul Governorship, Emine Öztürk, Human Resources and Sustainability Director at BigChefs, and Assist. Prof. Şeyma Tunçay, faculty member at Beykoz University Faculty of Social Sciences.

The panel will explore the definition of silent violence, its reflections in professional life, the importance of raising awareness, and the responsibilities of institutions in this area.

The event will be open to all participants interested in the topic.
