Centered on women’s production processes and modes of expression across art, academia, and creative industries, the talk titled “A Room of One’s Own Voice” will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2026, between 13.00 and 16.00 at the Kavacık Schools of Higher Education Campus.
Bringing together distinguished speakers from diverse disciplines, the event will feature sculptor and illustrator Biğkem Karavus, curator Yeşer Yenilmez, İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi academic and video art artist İrem Çoban, Doğuş Üniversitesi academic Sena Elif Özkan, and Nonereal Games representative Havva Solhan, who works in the fields of gaming and creative media.
The talk will be moderated by faculty members from the Beykoz Üniversitesi Faculty of Art and Design, Aylin Bema Zamandar Başoğlu and Banu Burçin Öztunç.
“A Room of One’s Own Voice” aims to offer participants a multifaceted discussion platform on individual production, visibility, and modes of expression within art, academia, and creative sectors.
The event is open to all interested participants.
