The seminar titled “Effective Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education: From Learning Outcomes to Fair Grading”, organized by the Learning and Teaching Coordination Office, will be held on March 27, 2026, at the Kavacık Schools of Higher Education Campus Conference Hall.

The seminar will address topics such as the effective planning of assessment and evaluation processes in higher education, the relationship between learning outcomes and assessment methods, and fair and transparent grading approaches.

The speaker of the event will be Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serap Büyükkıdık, a faculty member at the Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education at Istanbul University, who will share her experiences and recommendations regarding assessment and evaluation processes in higher education with the participants.

The seminar will be held in two sessions: the first session will take place between 10:00–12:00, and the second session between 13:30–15:30.

The seminar aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and experience regarding assessment and evaluation processes.
