Our Theatre Club students are preparing to take the stage with “The Miser”, the classic work by the renowned French playwright Molière. The play, which has been brought to life through the students’ dedicated efforts, is counting down the days to meet its audience.
Göksel Arslan serves as the supervisor of the production, while Uğurcan Turgut takes the director’s chair. Assistant roles are carried out by Ece Öncel, İlayda Gedik, and Mine Solmaz Özgüven. Music and set design are handled by Mehmet Önal, while lighting design is by Uğurcan Turgut. The cast includes Büşra Demircil, Ilgın Belovacıklı, Ece Öncel, Eylül Gül Okumuş, Ümmühan Bayar, Irmak Dinç, Katibe İrem Çıray, İlayda Gedik, Mine Solmaz Özgüven, and Zekeriya Dikici.
“The Miser” will be staged on April 27, 2026, at 20.00 at Ahmet Mithat Efendi Cultural Center. This special event in Beykoz will offer theatre enthusiasts the opportunity to experience a classical piece through the interpretation of young performers.
Beykoz University Theatre Club expresses that they would be delighted to welcome all art lovers to this enjoyable evening.
The play will be performed in Turkish.
