Beykoz University received its Institutional Accreditation Certificate at an official ceremony after being entitled to receive 2-year accreditation within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) carried out by the Turkish Higher Education Quality (THEQC).
The certificate presentation ceremony, held for higher education institutions that qualified for institutional accreditation as part of THEQC's 2024 evaluation programs, took place on May 16, 2025, at the Historical Hamam Meeting Hall of Yıldız Technical University’s Davutpaşa Campus.
The ceremony was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Baki Aksu, Secretary General Serpil Süer, Director of Strategic Planning and Quality Studies (Acting) Filiz Öner Mantaş, Coordinator of Strategic Planning and Quality Studies Dr. Lecturer Hüsniye Fırat, and Human Resources Director Rüveyda Aydın.
Our certificate was presented to our Rector Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay by THEQC President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak and Board Member Prof. Dr. Murat ÖNDER.
This document, which is an indicator of the importance our university attaches to quality assurance in education-training, research-development, social contribution, leadership and governance processes, has ensured the registration of our quality-oriented management approach at the institutional level.
