The seminar titled “In the Cockpit of Life: A Journey of Breast Cancer Awareness with Captain Pilot Bilge Derin”, organized by the Beykoz University Social Contribution Coordination Office, was held on November 25, 2025, at the Kavacık Higher Education Campus Conference Hall.
With the contributions of Memeder, the event hosted Turkish Airlines Captain Pilot Bilge Derin, who shared her personal life experiences, her fight against breast cancer, the importance of raising awareness, and the strong perspective she gained throughout this process.
At the event, which also featured a speech by Memeder Chair of the Board, Leman Şahinler Otru, comprehensive information was shared on breast health, the vital importance of early diagnosis, and the impact of community awareness initiatives.
