Organized in collaboration with the Center for Diplomatic Relations and Political Research (DİPAM), the University of Cagliari, and the Beykoz University Political Science and International Relations Program, the “Global Strategy Conference 2025” was held on 20–21 November at the Kavacık Higher Education Campus.
The conference, themed “Regionalization in the International System: The Search for Stability in a Fragmented World,” began with opening speeches delivered by DİPAM President Dr. Tolga Sakman, University of Cagliari Director of Political and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Marco Pitzalis, and Beykoz University Faculty of Social Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Mansur Beyazyürek.
Throughout the conference, academics, experts, and sector representatives discussed the current position of international organizations, the rising role of regional cooperation, shifts in global power balances, geopolitical competition, and the dynamics shaping the new world order. The sessions presented participants with diverse perspectives and offered comprehensive evaluations of contemporary international relations topics.
Attracting significant attention over two days, the event provided an important platform offering both academic and practical insights into the transformation of the international system. Participants had the opportunity to engage with experts and deepen their understanding of global developments by directing their questions to distinguished speakers.
