The Job Fair’25, organized in collaboration with the Career Center Directorate and the academic departments, was held on 8–12 December 2025 with high participation. Our students and alumni had the opportunity to meet leading company representatives, managers, and experts from various sectors, learn about career opportunities firsthand, directly interact with professionals, and gain inspiring insights.
The event began with an opening speech by Beykoz University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Baki Aksu. This was followed by a presentation titled “Leadership in Local Governments” by Beykoz District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, who shared his experiences in public administration. On the same day, İrem Bilensoy, Global Training and Development Director at İGA Istanbul Airport, delivered a notable session on digitalization and transformation in aviation. SETEM Board Member Orhan Koçak provided valuable insights into artificial intelligence and copyright issues. Ali Sarıkaya, E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Manager at Greyder, discussed the unseen technical aspects of e-commerce processes. In the final session of the day, retired Ambassador Ayşe Sezgin from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered a comprehensive perspective on a career in diplomacy.
The second day of the event focused on international trade and interview techniques. Sadık Yaman, E-Commerce and Warehouse Manager at Siveno, Customs Consultant Hüseyin Coşar from the Istanbul Association of Customs Consultants, and Legal Counsel Av. Yusuf Küçük from QNB Sigorta held a joint session covering career opportunities in logistics, customs, and legal processes. Afterwards, Aras Kargo Recruitment Specialist Melek Diken and Assistant Specialist Sude Naz Bilim conducted an Applied Interview Simulation Workshop, providing students with hands-on experience. Clinical Psychologist H. Berkan Binay offered a different perspective with his talk on the psychological effects of travel. The day concluded with a career-focused presentation on aviation by AJet Cabin Training Implementation Team Leader Dr. Behiye Okyay Karaoğlu.
The third day featured a wide range of topics, from entrepreneurship to addiction psychology, and from design to visual broadcasting. Davut Doğan, Chairman of the Board of Doğanlar Holding, shared inspiring examples from his entrepreneurial journey. Green Crescent (Yeşilay) Psychologists Hilal Özkal and Havvanur Kahriman delivered an awareness-raising presentation on addiction processes. Lütfi Büyüktopbaş, Senior Interior Architect at Zift Design, discussed the role of design in communication, while TRT Broadcast Graphics Specialist and Management Consultant Mihraç Cerrahoğlu concluded the day with valuable insights into visual identity transformation in broadcasting.
The fourth day highlighted technology and engineering. Furkan Akyürek, a 2022 graduate of the Digital Game Design Program and CEO/Game Developer at Vellichor Games, shared the processes of independent game development and his journey of founding his own company. This was followed by Management Consultant Bülent Dölek, who explained career steps in industrial engineering and the expectations of the sector.
The final day wrapped up with sessions on digital media and data analytics. Pelin Ekinci Kaya, Director of Central and Eastern Europe Productions at Netflix, delivered an impressive masterclass focusing on film production processes and digital content creation. In the closing session, Alican Sevimay and Ezgi Taşkın, Founding Partners of USER A, provided a guiding presentation on professional development pathways in data analytics.
As part of Job Fair’25, the company booths located at the Kavacık Vocational Schools Campus offered students the chance to explore internship and job opportunities, submit their CVs, and engage in one-on-one discussions with company representatives. With its interdisciplinary and extensive program, Job Fair’25 once again attracted great interest and made a significant contribution to our students’ career planning.
