“Studio Collection Vessel” Exhibition Organized by the Architecture Program Opens

The “Studio Collection Vessel” exhibition, prepared within the scope of the Architectural Design I: Encounters course conducted by the Architecture Program of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, met visitors on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Faculty of Social Sciences Campus.

The exhibition adopts a four-module interdisciplinary approach that addresses production not through individual works, but through encounters, visits, and experiences. Shaped around the materials of paper, rope, glass, and clay, the exhibition process considers these materials not merely as physical elements, but as ways of thinking, relating, and producing memory. Within the framework of the theme “The History of Objects in Beykoz,” the exhibition focuses on Beykoz’s industrial and labor history, while offering an expanding learning network through visits, workshops, and exhibition tours conducted in Istanbul and its surrounding areas. Each module is formed through interactions with different spaces, production practices, and individuals.

We congratulate all our students and academic staff who contributed to the realization of this exhibition and wish them continued success.
