Aligned with its vision of practice-oriented education, Beykoz University has launched a significant collaboration with Doğanlar Holding, one of Türkiye’s long-established, multi-sector investment groups. Within the scope of the protocol signed between Doğanlar Holding Chairman of the Board Davut Doğan and Beykoz University Rector Burak Küntay, the University’s distinctive educational model, Branded Courses, has been further strengthened through the partnership with Doğanlar Holding.
This protocol represents a strategic educational step that enables the direct integration of business knowledge and field experience into course content. Within the framework of the collaboration, holding executives and field experts will take active roles in designated courses, sharing their approaches to corporate governance, growth strategies, and investment perspectives with students.
As the first concrete outcome of the collaboration, the initial session of the Branded Course titled “Entrepreneurship and Start-Up Management with Doğanlar Holding” was delivered by Chairman of the Board Davut Doğan. The course addressed the role of entrepreneurial culture within corporate structures, strategic decision-making processes in start-up management, scaling dynamics, and perspectives on sustainable growth.
Students had the opportunity to analyze the investment approach and management vision of a multi-sector holding through direct experience sharing. Conducted around real business cases, the course offered a strong learning environment where theory and practice were effectively integrated.
Following the course, Rector Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay shared the following remarks:“The main objective of our Branded Courses model is to introduce our students to the real dynamics of the industry before graduation. The inclusion of a strong and well-established organization such as Doğanlar Holding in this model makes a significant contribution to our students’ strategic thinking and entrepreneurial competencies.”
Davut Doğan emphasized the importance of young people establishing direct contact with the business world during their education, gaining an entrepreneurial mindset, and becoming familiar with real sector dynamics while still students. He stated that they view contributing to education as a long-term investment in the country’s future and highlighted that collaborations with universities are considered not merely as knowledge sharing, but as a strategic responsibility toward the development of qualified human capital.
Developed by Beykoz University, the Branded Courses model is an innovative educational approach that integrates sector representatives into course processes, co-designs content, and connects students with real business problems. Within this model, course content is developed jointly with industry, real case analyses are brought into the classroom, and students take an active role through project-based studies.
Through this structure, students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also gain hands-on experience with decision-making mechanisms, strategic planning processes, and current business dynamics.
Beykoz University extends its sincere thanks to Doğanlar Holding for contributing to the Branded Courses model and directly supporting the development of students’ competencies. This strategic collaboration stands as a concrete step that strengthens university–industry integration and advances entrepreneurship-focused, practice-oriented education.
