The results of the Turkey Logistics Performance Index 2025, developed by Beykoz University in collaboration with the Association of Logistics Service Providers (LojiDer), were shared with industry representatives at LojiDer’s 2nd Ordinary General Assembly. Conducted with the active participation of the association’s members and supported by Pragma Research and Consulting during the research process, the study was prepared with contributions from 231 companies.
The index, which measures the sector across seven key dimensions, provides a comprehensive evaluation under the headings of operational processes, capacity utilization, cost structure, risk management, sustainability, workforce, and regulatory framework. Findings indicate that while the logistics sector has a strong and efficient operational structure, there remains a need for improvement in risk management capacity, sustainability practices, and the regulatory framework.
Prof. Dr. Ezgi Uzel Aydınocak, Research Coordinator of the Turkey Logistics Performance Index and Head of the Logistics Management Department at Beykoz University, commented on the study:
"The index results show that process efficiency is the strongest determinant of sector performance. At the same time, risk management capacity, workforce quality, and technology utilization need to be strengthened more systematically to ensure sustainable growth. The Turkey Logistics Performance Index provides a critical reference for strategic decision-making by highlighting both the strengths and areas for development in the sector."
