The Faculty of Business and Administrative Sciences at Beykoz University—including its programs in Business Administration (Turkish), International Trade and Finance (English), and Logistics Management (English)—together with the Political Science and International Relations (English) program in the Faculty of Social Sciences, has been accredited for four years by the STAR (Social Sciences Accreditation and Rating) Association. Thus, the total number of STAR accreditations at our university has reached five.
The Faculty of Social Sciences has achieved its first accreditation through the Political Science and International Relations program. Meanwhile, the Business Administration (English) program, which was accredited in April 2025, has further strengthened its position within the accreditation framework, making the Faculty of Business and Administrative Sciences the only fully accredited faculty at our university.
As part of the evaluation process, reviews were conducted based on 11 main criteria and 41 sub-criteria. A team of four STAR accreditation experts carried out a comprehensive assessment during a three-day site visit held on November 3–5, 2025.
During this process, the programs were thoroughly evaluated in terms of student profiles, educational objectives, learning outcomes, curricula, and academic staff. In addition, meetings were held with faculty members, students, and internal and external stakeholders, both face-to-face and online. Classrooms, laboratories, student facilities, and campus resources were also meticulously assessed.
