A Strong Bridge Between Education and Business: Beykoz University and the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey

In order to better prepare young people for the business world and to strengthen university–industry collaboration, a cooperation protocol has been signed between Beykoz University and the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD).

The protocol was signed on April 22, 2026, by Dr. Tamer Saka, Chairman of the Board of TKYD, and Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay, Rector of Beykoz University.

Within the scope of the agreement, Beykoz University students will gain access to internship opportunities, hands-on training, branded courses, and direct interaction with industry professionals. In particular, through the 14-week long-term internship programs offered within the “Professional Practice in Business” course, students will have the opportunity to gain work experience before graduation.

The collaboration will not be limited to students. Through branded courses, certificate programs, graduate education opportunities, conferences, seminars, and joint projects, the partnership aims to enhance knowledge sharing between academia and the business world. In addition, employees of TKYD and its member organizations will be able to benefit from Beykoz University’s graduate and lifelong learning programs to support their professional development.

This cooperation also aims to enhance institutional capacity, ensure the efficient use of resources, and develop sustainable collaboration models between the parties.

Commenting on the agreement, Beykoz University Rector Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay emphasized the importance of university–industry partnerships and stated that this protocol will contribute to raising students as individuals who are better prepared for the business world.
