Beykoz University signed an important cooperation protocol with the Beykoz Governorship and the Beykoz District Directorate of National Education in order to strengthen sustainable collaborations in the field of education.
The signing ceremony, held at Sabancı Teachers’ House, was attended by Beykoz District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, Beykoz District Director of National Education Sevcenur Özcan, Beykoz University Rector Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Baki Aksu and Prof. Dr. Pınar Seden Meral, Secretary General Serpil Süer, Deputy Secretaries General Melike Tümen, Göktuğ Özmen and Kübra Özmen Kutanoğlu, as well as high school principals and guidance counselors serving in the district. During the program, potential joint initiatives in education, projects aimed at supporting students’ academic and career development, and opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration were discussed.
Within the scope of the signed protocol, it is aimed to improve the quality and standards of education in public and private educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education operating within the borders of Beykoz district. In this context, various initiatives are planned to support not only students’ academic success but also their social, cultural, artistic, and athletic development. In addition, professional development programs, seminars, training sessions, workshops, and various activities for teachers and educational administrators are planned to be organized.
The protocol also aims to establish a strong and sustainable educational collaboration among the institutions, while supporting students in preparing for university life, contributing to their career planning processes, and developing joint projects in the field of education.
During the meeting, the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in education was emphasized, and it was stated that strong ties between universities, public institutions, and secondary education institutions would make significant contributions to students’ development. It was also highlighted that acting with a shared vision and a culture of solidarity in education would play an important role in preparing young people more effectively for the future.
In line with its community-oriented approach, Beykoz University continues to strengthen its collaborations with public institutions and educational stakeholders, develop projects that contribute to students’ multidimensional development, and add value to the educational ecosystem.
