As part of the awareness-raising activities carried out by our University’s Accessibility and Disadvantaged Groups Coordinatorship, a visit was organized on May 21, 2026, to the Türkiye Omurilik Felçlileri Derneği, which operates in Beykoz.
The visit was attended by Accessibility and Disadvantaged Groups Coordinator Lecturer Zehra Kaya and students enrolled in the Youth and Social Responsibility course. During the visit, our students had the opportunity to meet with the association’s representatives and volunteers and learn more about its activities. By observing the association’s work firsthand, the students gained valuable insights into accessibility, social awareness, and the challenges faced by individuals with special needs in social life.
The visit contributed to enhancing our students’ social awareness and strengthening their sense of social responsibility.
Our University remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote awareness of independent and accessible living, accessibility, and social inclusion, and will continue to develop projects in these areas.
