The 2025–2026 Academic Year General Evaluation Meeting was held at our University with the participation of our Board of Trustees members, as well as academic and administrative staff. During the meeting, the academic year that has come to an end was reviewed, achievements throughout the year were shared, and goals and plans for the upcoming period were discussed.
The meeting commenced with an opening speech by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay. In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Küntay highlighted the progress achieved in the areas of education, research, and social contribution and thanked our academic and administrative staff for their dedicated efforts. He was followed by our Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Engin Özmen, who shared his views on the University's development process and presented his vision for the future.
As part of the program, the initiatives carried out throughout the 2025–2026 Academic Year, the academic and institutional achievements attained, and the University's strategic objectives were presented to the participants.
The meeting also included a special acknowledgment of Prof. Dr. Mansur Beyazyürek for his valuable contributions during his tenure as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. A plaque of appreciation was presented to Prof. Dr. Beyazyürek, and a handover ceremony was held for Prof. Dr. Pınar Kurt Combil, who assumed the position of Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The 2025–2026 Academic Year General Evaluation Meeting reinforced the spirit of unity and collaboration in line with our University's shared goals while also contributing to increased motivation for the upcoming academic year.
