As part of the Architectural Design 1 (MTS1) course, students visited the Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF’25) to follow current discussions on cities, public space, local governance, and sustainability.
During the field study, students attended forum sessions, presentations, and various events, gaining insight into different approaches and solutions related to the future of cities. Throughout the event, topics such as urban planning, the use of public spaces, local governance policies, and sustainable urban development were explored from interdisciplinary perspectives.
The visit provided students with an opportunity to evaluate contemporary urban issues through a multidisciplinary lens while closely engaging with current academic and professional discussions on urban development.
