Within the scope of the UNIQUE EDUCATION MODEL that forms part of our university’s teaching and learning approach, Beykoz University has been implementing the “3+1 Education Model” for every student enrolled in associate degree programs and the “7+1 Education Model” for every student enrolled in undergraduate programs since 2017.
Through this model included in the students’ curricula, students spend at least one semester (70 working days) in a workplace operating in their field.
All of our students carry out their Professional Training in the Workplace (70 working days), Internship (20 working days + 3 courses), and Voluntary Internship processes through the Student Information System (OIS). The insurance for work accidents and occupational diseases of our students is covered by our university.
Within this framework, we believe that the time our valued employers/managers allocate to teaching and guiding our students during their practical training provides them with significant value and professional experience. If you would like to offer internship or employment opportunities to our students and graduates, you may create a registration through the Employer Portal.
If you would like to establish a Professional Training in the Workplace Protocol with our university, you may contact us at [email protected].
The internships our students complete during their studies allow them to become familiar with the working environment before graduation and help them gain experience by understanding the working principles of institutions while they are still students.
During job applications, they gain early awareness of the recruitment and interview processes. In addition to recognizing the workforce competencies required by their sector, this experience also enables them to improve themselves.
When they have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the workplaces where they complete their internships, their chances of being employed in those organizations increase, and they become more preferable candidates within the sector.
