On December 19, 2018, a conference titled "Blurring Borders: Ambiguous Spaces in Modern Iranian and Afghan Poetry" conference was organized.
Dr. Fatemah Shams from the University of Pennsylvania attended the conference as a speaker.
The event was an in-depth exploration of modern poetry in Iran and Afghanistan and how cultural and literary boundaries are shaped in these countries. Through poetry, Dr. Shams explored the complex and shifting identity dynamics between the two countries.
