Award from the Turkish Standards Institute!
14 October World Standards Day was celebrated with an organization organized by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE). Faculty Member of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences and Vice President of the TSE Mirror Committee Dr. Lecturer Hüsniye Fırat attended the event held within the scope of the TSE 70th Anniversary program as a speaker. Prof. Dr. Hüsniye Fırat participated as a speaker.
In addition to the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Mahmut Sami Şahin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Standards Institute, Dr. Sung Hwan Cho, President of ISO, academicians, students and guests attended the program held in Kocaeli Informatics Valley.
At the event, awards were presented to companies cooperating with TSE in 7 different categories and successful mirror committee members.
Co-author of the ISO 56000 Innovation Management System Standard series, Dr. Assist. Prof. Dr. Hüsniye Fırat, co-author of ISO 56000 Innovation Management System Standard series, was presented an award/plaque by TSE Chairman Mahmut Sami Şahin and ISO President Dr. Sung Hwan Cho for her work in the mirror committee. After the award ceremony, in the panel on “Innovation and Standards; Shaping the Future” moderated by TSE Secretary General Aykut Kırbaş, Dr. Lecturer Hüsniye Fırat and Dr. Sung Hwan Cho were invited to the panel. Prof. Dr. Hüsniye Fırat and guest lecturers of our University Dr. Ömer Özkan and Müjgan Çetin took part as invited panelists.
