The Radio, Television and Cinema Program brought together two prominent figures of contemporary Turkish cinema with our students. Producer Burak Kaplan and director Ozan Takış shared their industry experiences in a talk moderated by Assist. Prof. Murat Çetinkaya.
During the session, current dynamics of the film industry, production processes, directing experiences, and creative practices in independent cinema were discussed. The guests also shared insights from their career journeys and answered students’ questions about the industry.
Attracting strong interest from students, the event provided valuable discussions on different stages of film production, emphasizing the importance of creative processes, teamwork, and building a sustainable career in the industry.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, offering students the opportunity to directly engage with industry professionals and gain up-to-date insights into the world of cinema.
