Assoc. Prof. Pınar Sayan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, attended the meeting titled “Recalibrating the Alliance: NATO, Türkiye, and European Security Ahead of Ankara 2026”, organized by the Istanbul Policy Research Institute and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Türkiye Representation on 4 June 2026.

The meeting brought together diplomats, politicians, academics, and experts from leading think tanks to discuss European security and Türkiye’s role from various perspectives ahead of the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara.
