Social Impact Policy

Beykoz University adopts an approach that prioritizes social impact in all its activities, in line with its mission “to be a universal university that learns and adds value to learning and society through what it has learned” and its vision “to provide a higher education environment that respects human life and social and cultural values, fosters a strong sense of social responsibility, and enables the development of individuals who take responsibility for a sustainable future.”

Within this framework, the social impact policy adopted by our University is based on the following principles:

• We prioritize activities that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
• We allocate the budget for social impact activities primarily to projects in which students actively participate.
• We support all our staff in taking active roles in non-governmental organizations.
• We develop certificate programs that respond to evolving societal needs and support lifelong learning.
