Today, the main goal of businesses is to produce goods and services. Enterprises have to gather various resources and use them effectively and efficiently in order to achieve these goals. The most important of these resources is human resources. Because man is a complex being with his feelings, needs, thoughts, desires, talents and nature. Therefore, it is much more difficult to manage than other production factors.
Economic, social, technological and political developments starting in the last quarter of the 20th century and extending to the present day have forced every business with this fact and necessity to use its human resources effectively and efficiently. In this period, the increase in international competition, the globalization of the economy, the universalization of knowledge, very rapid technological innovations, the rapid development of international trade, the emergence of new production methods and techniques, and the gradual growth of the service sector brought along the necessity of a significant change in the quality of human resources. This imperative has increased the importance of business education, and has revealed the need to provide this education in a much more comprehensive way. The characteristics that determine the high quality and quality of the human resources are not only professional knowledge, but also features such as creativity, analytical thinking, taking responsibility, being open to continuous improvement, following innovations and adapting to technological innovations and being able to work in teams. It has been understood that the ability of enterprises to survive by adapting to this change depends on having high quality personnel and using human resources rationally and efficiently.
Our Business Administrative Program aims to raise the qualified human resources needed by our enterprises, which struggle to survive in a global environment, with modern training methods and techniques, and to equip them with business knowledge, skills and behaviors to the extent that they can undertake important tasks in working life. In our program, courses that provide contemporary information on basic business administration subjects such as production, accounting, marketing and sales, finance, human resources management, information technologies, statistics, law and behavioral sciences are predominantly given, but our students are predisposed to analytical thinking, decision making, team and teamwork. There are also lessons, group work, case discussions, business games, projects, conferences that aim to gain qualifications such as creativity, leadership, entrepreneurship, taking responsibility, project development, research, and using information technologies in the best way. Although internship is not compulsory, if the student wants to do internship at his own request, this request is evaluated depending on the internship regulations and necessary support and assistance is provided in finding internships.
