From the Head of Psychology Department

Dear Students,

Psychology is a branch of science that aims to understand human mental processes and behaviors by applying scientific methods. Considering the needs of today, the interest in the Psychology Department has been increasing in recent years. The Psychology Department of our university aimed to provide our students with a solid foundation in different areas of psychology such as social, clinical, developmental, cognitive and organizational, by providing a wide range of courses from physiological psychology to clinical psychology, developmental psychology to evolutionary psychology. With our research-oriented courses, it is aimed to improve the analytical thinking, analysis and interpretation skills of our students.

When our psychology graduates complete their 4-year education, they will be able to work in the human resources departments, kindergartens, schools, hospitals, mental health centers and private counseling centers with the title of psychologist. Our students who prefer will continue their graduate programs and continue their careers by getting the title of Expert Psychologist in their fields.

It is our goal to train psychologists who are committed to professional ethical principles, have high social sensitivity, evaluate individual and social problems with an objective perspective, and offer solutions to these problems, and monitor their activities as well-equipped members of their professions in the industry.

I welcome tomorrow's young psychologists who want to study psychology with the opportunities of Beykoz University.
