Purpose of the Program
For companies, culinary is not just about cooking food. It is not possible to design a career without knowing food legislation and regulations, without knowing the basic principles of nutrition, without knowing the world cuisine, and without knowing the principles of communication and management between individuals.
With the Beykoz University Culinary Program, it is aimed to combine this art, which is already existing with education and training, into a career plan and build a future design. Our students, who will be trained with fully equipped knowledge and practice, from communication to business, from nutrition principles to world cuisines, protocol rules to space design, will be able to have the efficiency and competence to perform their profession professionally after completing their 4-semester education, having completed 120 credits.
Working Areas of Graduates
They can work in accommodation, food and beverage, banquets and industrial meals, food and beverage departments of private and state institutions.
The program accepts students with TYT score type. The language of instruction of the program is Turkish and students who wish can receive an optional English preparatory education for one year. The education period of the program is 4 semesters, and the maximum period to be given to students studying at the university's associate degree level to complete their education is four years.
