As Beykoz University Vocational School, since the 2017-2018 academic year we have been training qualified technical personnel sought by the industry in the technology fields of the future from software to cybersecurity, from big data to artificial intelligence through an application-oriented educational approach.
Beykoz University Vocational School began its educational life in the 2017-2018 academic year. Our goal has never changed since that day: not to make students memorize theory, but to equip them with the knowledge and skills they will need in real working life.
Today, with our five current associate degree programs in information technology, we provide education in the most sought-after fields of our time, such as software development, cybersecurity, big data analytics, digital game technologies, and artificial intelligence operations. The applied dimension of our courses comes to life in our laboratories, which are equipped with current software and hardware; in your third or fourth semester, you take part in a real workplace, on real projects, for 70 working days.
Graduates of all our programs have the opportunity to transfer to four-year bachelor's degree programs related to their field through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) administered by ÖSYM.
Quality assurance is not just a slogan for us. Our Computer Programming program has been accredited after successfully completing the independent external evaluation process conducted by MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association), which is authorized by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK). In addition, our university's institutional accreditation certificate has also been presented by YÖKAK. These certificates are concrete proof that our educational quality complies with nationally recognized standards.
You can find detailed information about each program's curriculum, academic staff, and career opportunities on the program pages.
Our graduates have the opportunity to work in many sectors, particularly software companies, technology firms, banks, e-commerce companies, and public institutions. Graduates who wish to continue their academic journey can transfer to four-year bachelor's degree programs such as Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and Information Systems Engineering through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS).
Education at our Vocational School extends beyond the classroom. You can develop your technical and social skills through student communities such as the YÖNTEK Club and the Big Data Analytics Club; you can closely follow current developments in your field through the seminars, conferences, and industry meetings we organize. You can study abroad through Erasmus+, and get acquainted with the professional business world before graduation with the support of our Career Center.
To train qualified technical personnel who can adapt to the rapid development required by the times, are inclined toward teamwork, are sensitive to people and health, conduct their profession in line with ethical principles, and are open to communication and professional development; to be a leading educational institution that prioritizes the individual, professional, and social development of young people.
To be a leading vocational school that embraces the understanding that quality is not a coincidence but the result of effort; that is innovative, prioritizes quality, is open to national and international collaborations; and equips its students with current knowledge and skills.
