School of Foreign Languages Attended the Oxford Nexus 2025: Aligned with Growth Conference

The School of Foreign Languages at Beykoz University participated in the Oxford Nexus 2025: Aligned with Growth Conference organized by Oxford University Press.

The event was held on November 29, 2025, and hosted by Istanbul Commerce University at the Ahi Çelebi – Eminönü Campus. Bringing together administrators and coordinators working in the field of foreign language education in higher education institutions across Türkiye, this year’s conference focused on key areas such as testing and assessment, curriculum design, quality assurance, and academic development practices.

Representing Beykoz University School of Foreign Languages, School Director Lect. Pınar Pamuk and Assistant Director Lect. Mediha Banbal attended the conference. Throughout the program, presentations and interactive sessions were held on topics including:

  • Quality and sustainability in language education in higher education,
  • Standardization in testing and assessment,
  • Alignment of curricula with contemporary educational goals,
  • Strategies supporting the continuous professional development of instructors.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity for exchanging knowledge with experts, evaluating emerging practices, and developing approaches that contribute to the academic quality processes carried out within the School of Foreign Languages.
