As part of our branded courses, the first session of the “Agricultural Applications” course—conducted this semester in collaboration with Perla Fruit—was held on March 27, 2026, with the participation of Supply Chain Manager Serdar Ceylan and Laboratory Manager Gülden Hazerhun.
During the first session, experienced professionals from the Perla Fruit Laboratories Group came together with our students to share both theoretical and practical insights on critical topics such as pesticide analysis in agricultural products, production and procurement planning, proper use of pesticides, residue management, and food safety, while also emphasizing the importance of sustainable agriculture.
Within the scope of the course, students will also be provided with comprehensive knowledge on quality control techniques in agricultural products, organic farming, and procurement and logistics processes in the food industry. The program will conclude with a technical visit to the Perla Fruit production facility.
Through direct interaction with industry professionals, our students had the opportunity to gain practical insights into scientific approaches related to safe and healthy food production as well as supply chain management.
