The exemption from Beykoz-SFL English Preparatory Program is the same for all the students who attend English Preparatory Program and the exemption can be in four different ways:
To be successful at English Preparatory Program English Proficiency Exam (Beykoz-PROF)
The students who enroll in the university and do not have any foreign language proficiency certificate first take the English Placement Test. In order to take the Proficiency Test (Beykoz PROF), B1 or B2 level is required. When these students get a score of 60 and above from the Beykoz-PROF Exam, they become successful (exempted from) at the English Preparatory Program and they are eligible to take courses from their departments in the next semester.
While continuing the academic year, Beykoz-PROF Exam is taken by the students who have reached the target/exit level at the end of the module.
To finish the B2 level with a score of 80 (eighty) and above while continuing to the English Preparatory Program
At the end of the module where they study at the B2 level, the students who have completed the related module with a score of “80 and above” are considered successful (exempted from) the English Preparatory Program and are entitled to take courses from their departments in the next semester.
