Assist. Prof. Serap Nazır, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design and Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, along with our faculty member Prof. Dr. Esra Kasapbaşı and Gastronomy Club President Arda Taşköprü, visited the Istanbul Darülaceze Directorate to discuss a new social responsibility project to be implemented.
During the visit, which was held within the scope of the 18–24 March Elderly Week, the Darülaceze campus was examined and information was gathered about the life experiences of the institution’s residents. The project aims not only to carry out practical activities in the field of gastronomy but also to strengthen social solidarity and intergenerational interaction.
Through this project, Beykoz University aims to provide students with the opportunity to collaborate with Darülaceze residents and gain practical experience.
