The research & development and innovation goal of our university remains to be among the competitive and leading universities at a national as well as international level regarding research & development and innovation studies besides production in prioritized areas.

Within this framework, the research policy of our University is shaped by the following aspects:

• Topics that will bring solutions to interdisciplinary and global problems in the focused areas are given priority.
• Utilising external resources, especially national and international fundis, at the highest level for research activities remains essential.
• In order to support and develop research & development and innovation activities within the university, we create and support platforms that will bring together the university and the business world.
• Projects are carried with a view to strengthening the relationship between research & development, innovation, education and training activities.
