The informational meeting organized to ensure the effective use of the Academic Data Management System (AVYS) and the Performance Module by all academic staff at Beykoz University was successfully completed on December 9, 2025, at the Kavacık Vocational Schools Campus.
The meeting was conducted in four sessions by Internal Audit Coordinator Dr. Hami Aydın. Throughout the training, all essential topics—from accessing AVYS to entering data into the performance module—were addressed in detail. The first session focused on system login procedures and updating personal information, followed by academic CV management and the synchronization processes enabling publications to be automatically transferred into the system from YÖKSİS and international indexing platforms such as Google, Scopus and ORCID. The training also covered the use of the web analytics module, including practical demonstrations on viewing synchronized academic work. In the final session, participants were guided through the manual data entry steps required under the Academic Performance Evaluation (APD) criteria, including Teaching Activities, Scientific/Artistic Work, and Contributions to University Administration.
At the end of the meeting, participants’ questions were addressed, and issues encountered by academic staff during data entry were resolved through on-site support. This training aims to help academic staff complete performance evaluation processes more efficiently, accurately and seamlessly.
