2023–2024 Institutional Self-Evaluation Report Writing Process Has Been Launched

The writing process for Beykoz University’s 2023–2024 Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER) has been initiated. The process is being carried out in a planned, coordinated, and evidence-based manner in line with the University’s Quality Assurance System.

At the first meeting held on 13 February 2026, cooperation and task distribution regarding the ISER writing process were established with the participation of the relevant coordinators. Accordingly:

  • The Leadership, Governance, and Quality section will be conducted by the Quality Commission under the leadership of the Quality Coordinator, Assist. Prof. Hüsniye Fırat.
  • The Education and Training section will be carried out under the coordination of the Education and Training Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Özay Gürtuğ, with contributions from the relevant coordinator teams.
  • The Research and Development (R&D) section will be conducted by the academic and administrative team within the R&D Coordination Office under the leadership of the R&D Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Emine Esra Kasapbaşı.
  • The Social Contribution section will be carried out under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Pınar Seden Meral, with the contributions and responsibilities of the members of the Social Contribution Coordination Office.

During the meeting, key points to consider in the preparation of the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report, methods for presenting evidence, writing format, and reporting integrity were discussed in detail. The ISER 3.2.1 document was shared with the participants, and sample evidence tables prepared by the Quality Coordination Office were also provided to support the process.

The second meeting regarding the ISER writing process was held on 19 February 2026. In addition to the assigned coordinators, deans and directors also participated. During the meeting, support needs related to the preparation of evidence and examples of good practice were evaluated. It was emphasized that the effective and systematic execution of activities, improvement plans, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CPA) processes through the Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) would facilitate evidence collection and reporting during the ISER writing process. In this context, it was stated that the regular operation of processes would reduce coordination needs in the future.

Once completed, the draft Institutional Self-Evaluation Report will be submitted to the members of the Quality Commission for their review.

Beykoz University aims to strengthen its quality assurance system and ensure sustainable institutional development by conducting the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report preparation process through a participatory, systematic approach based on continuous improvement.
