BEY-KAL Students Prepare for the Internal Audit Process

Beykoz University Student Quality Ambassadors (BEY-KAL) took an important step toward actively contributing to the University's quality assurance efforts by participating in the Internal Auditor Training held on June 22.

During the training delivered by Quality Coordinator Assist. Prof. Hüsniye Fırat, students were informed about the purpose, scope, and procedures of the internal audit process. The program also covered key principles that internal auditors should observe throughout the process, including impartiality, objectivity, and evidence-based evaluation.

In the practical part of the training, participants worked on the internal audit question set prepared by the Quality Coordination Office. Through these exercises, students gained valuable insights into the evaluation methods and sample questions to be used during internal audit visits, enhancing their awareness and understanding of the process.

At the end of the training, participants completed an assessment test and were awarded Internal Auditor Training Certificates.

For the first time this year, BEY-KAL students will serve as members of the internal audit teams, contributing to the University's quality processes from a student perspective. This initiative aims to strengthen student participation in the internal audit process, promote a culture of quality across the University, and support continuous improvement efforts through the active involvement of all stakeholders.
