The Founding Rector of our university, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman, will step down from his position as Rector on September 30, 2024, after serving since September 19, 2016. As of October 1, 2024, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay will take over the position of Rector.
