  • To be able to transfer knowledge to different groups by supporting it with quantitative and qualitative data and using written, oral and visual communication tools.
  • Develop an analytical, critical and comparative perspective.
  • Apply what they have learned in business life.
  • Use specialized knowledge with ethical and social responsibility awareness.

Program Educational Objectives

Graduates of our program:

  • Are equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge in basic science subjects related to engineering.
  • Design and develop engineering applications under realistic constraints and conditions using appropriate methods, tools and technologies.
  • Are ready for professional practice in the field of engineering.
  • Have competencies that meet the expectations of the ever-changing and evolving environment of the competitive global business world, technology and engineering fields.

Our Graduates

Beykoz University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture first graduated students from the Architecture Program in 2022 and then graduated from the Engineering Program in 2023.

Students graduating from these departments have the opportunity to work in various fields in both the private and public sectors. They can find positions in companies working in areas such as software, automation, artificial intelligence, architecture and design. Graduates who receive English-language education can consider graduate education or job opportunities abroad. There are also graduates who establish start-ups with their own design or software projects.

Beykoz University keeps track of its graduates through the Alumni Information System or Career Center. In order to communicate with alumni and analyze their place in the business world: The Alumni Association was established and our alumni are invited to meet with students during Career Days.

Practical Training Process

Our students have the opportunity to put into practice the theoretical knowledge they have acquired during the education process with the Practical Training in the Workplace in the last year. A significant number of our graduates receive job offers from the institutions where they have completed their Practical Training in the Workplace, and all of them state that this experience has positively affected both their personal development and job finding processes.

Education in English

At Beykoz University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the language of instruction for Architecture and Software Engineering programs is Turkish, while the language of instruction for Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering programs is English. Students who do not have English language proficiency attend the English Preparatory Program for one year in order to be admitted to the program.

Second Foreign Language Opportunities

Elective courses in other languages are offered for students who wish to learn a foreign language other than English.

International Exchange Programs

With the relations established with universities abroad, our students have the opportunity to benefit from exchange programs and international scholarships. Our students especially actively benefit from the Erasmus+ program.

The Erasmus+ agreements of our program are as follows:

  • Universidade Da Coruna (Spain)
  • Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (Malta)
  • Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia (Italy)
  • Universidade de Evora (Portugal)
  • Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (Portugal)

Research Opportunities

Our students who are interested in academic research can take part in the research projects of our faculty members on a voluntary or paid basis or apply for TÜBİTAK grants under the supervision of faculty members.

Student Communities

In line with the philosophy of “Education is not preparation for life, it is life itself”, a total of 44 clubs, including Informatics Club, Computer Engineering Society, Young Entrepreneurs Club, Architecture Club, Cyber Club, and Software Engineering, are formed by Beykoz University students. These clubs color and shape the social and cultural life at our university with their activities. The number of clubs is constantly increasing with the participation of new students.

Events

The conferences, seminars and panels organized by our program provide our students with the opportunity to follow scientific developments with the expert guests they host. In addition, Engineering Project Awards are organized at the end of the semester and award ceremonies are organized for students who have carried out successful projects throughout the semester and who are eligible to be ranked.

Graduate Education Opportunities
