PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
Artificial Intelligence has been the core element of the field of informatics and information society in recent years, but it also remains intertwined and inclusive with many other fields too. The main objective of our Artificial Intelligence Master's programs (thesis and non-thesis) is to train artificial intelligence experts with scientific, technical knowledge and experience in artificial intelligence applications covering all fields so that they can follow the ever developing technology and offer appropriate solutions accordingly. In that respect, the program seeks to attract students who have graduated from computer, software and other related fields and get them trained in the field of artificial intelligence so as to equip them with the high workforce requirements in this field.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
In recent years, artificial intelligence applications have been rapidly expanding in every field, especially in production, banking and finance, health, services, trade, entertainment, art and design, education and public sector. We can call this phenomenon the Age of Artificial Intelligence. Therefore, a need for artificial intelligence experts in every field has risen. Artificial intelligence experts can work not only in organizations in the IT sector, but also in units related to IT applications in organizations in every sector. Graduates of the Artificial Intelligence Master's Program with / without thesis will respond to this need.
ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES
For admission to the Artificial Intelligence Master's Program with Thesis, students must have a bachelor's degree in computer sciences (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer and Instructional Technology, Business Informatics, Management Information Systems), certain engineering and science fields (Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Mathematical Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Physics) or computer applications.
WHY BOTH A THESIS AND NON-THESIS MASTER'S PROGRAM?
Artificial Intelligence Master's Programs are offered as both thesis and non-thesis programs for to meet the requirements of both professional, research and academic lives.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
The duration of the Master's Program without thesis is 3 semesters. The Master's Program with Thesis is completed in a minimum of 4 semesters and a maximum of 6 semesters.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The non-thesis program consists of 10 courses and a Master's Term Project, while the thesis program consists of 7 courses, a seminar course and a Master's Thesis.
The courses consist of compulsory courses and elective courses. Some of the courses are listed below:
PROJECT-ORIENTED LEARNING
The Artificial Intelligence Master's Program is conducted with the Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach. Each course has a Project-Based Learning component and the student does one or more projects under the supervision of the instructor. The projects are done using specific tools, so that the student learns artificial intelligence tools on the subject of the project.
