Beykoz University attaches importance to creating an effective organizational structure in order to achieve its strategic goals in research, development and innovation.
In Beykoz University, the research, development and innovation field was initially organized under the Vice Rector for
Research to consist of the following units;
Graduate education and research at Beykoz University is structured under a single institute named Institute of
Graduate Programs. In this way, it is aimed to achieve a common vision and approach in the field of graduate education, research, development and innovation, a common basis for determining goals and priorities, standardization in practice,
efficiency in resource use and governance. The Institute of Graduate Programs was attached to the vice-rector responsible for research and international relations instead of the vice-rector responsible for education, and harmonization was aimed between the goals and activities of graduate education and research and other units in this field.
Application and research centers are established to conduct research and application in specific areas. The following application and research centers are still operating at Beykoz University:
In parallel with the increase in research, development and innovation studies, it is aimed not to increase the number of application and research centers over time and to cover a wide range of research areas of Beykoz University.
R&D-Innovation Coordinatorship is the administrative unit that coordinates research, development and innovation activities and supports researchers and research centers. It is aimed to develop the R&D-Innovation Coordinatorship as Project
Development Unit, Project Execution Unit,
Incubation Center, Technology Center (TEKMER), Technology Transfer Office and TEKNOPARK.
The Research Support Committee is responsible for the implementation of research and development incentives. The committee consists of a representative from academic units (faculty, institute, college and vocational school) under the chairmanship of the vice-rector responsible for research.
The organizational structure of Beykoz University in the field of research, development and innovation will be developed within the framework of the needs and possibilities emerging over time.
