Students from the Rail Systems Management Program at Beykoz Logistics Vocational School, accompanied by Rail Systems Management Program Chair Lecturer Özhan Görçün, took a technical trip to the Metro Istanbul Yenikapı Campus on March 5, 2026.
During the technical visit, our students were welcomed by Yavuz Erdem, Director of Metro Istanbul Academy, and attended a comprehensive information presentation on the rail systems sector. They then proceeded to the Esenler Metro facilities under the coordination of Fatih Pak, Director of M4 Esenyurt, where they conducted technical inspections.

Our students received detailed information from experts about the processes carried out in the technical units and observed the operation and maintenance processes of rail systems in practice.
Following a break in the program, our students received hands-on training on switch changing processes, the use of signaling systems, and train driving and braking training, which was of great interest to the students.
During the technical tour, which lasted approximately 4 hours in total, our students had the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge of rail system operation with field experience.
