Purpose of the Program
With the phenomenon of globalization affecting the world rapidly, businesses need more and more qualified personnel who has knowledge about international trade and legislation in order to be successful in the international area. The foreign trade program was opened in 2008 to meet this need of the industry. With the Foreign Trade Program, students are provided with information on international trade, foreign trade financing, import-export legislation, customs legislation, international marketing, as well as business and logistics.
Foreign Trade, a 2-year associate degree program, accepts students with TYT score. The aim of the Foreign Trade Program is to train foreign trade professionals who are competent to carry out and follow up different international commercial activities and business processes, have knowledge about information and communication technology, and are equipped with the ability to produce fast solutions. For this purpose, in addition to the theoretical courses in the foreign trade program, it is applied with 3 + 1 education model. With this model, our students complete competency courses, core courses, professional field specialization courses in 3 semesters of 4 semesters, which are the duration of the program, and in the last 1 semester they receive practical training in the sector enterprises.
If the graduated students succeed in the Vertical Transfer Exam, they can transfer to the 4-year bachelor programs of the universities or complete their bachelor degree education at a university abroad.

Export and import companies, the European Union's representative in Turkey, Banks, Customs procedures and services the company offers, Customs Brokerage, Logistics National and International Trade and the Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade.
