Technical Visit Organized to Mirlog Global Logistics

Within the scope of the Logistics Program at Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics, a technical visit was organized to Mirlog Global Logistics to enable students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical experience. The visit was coordinated by Assist. Prof. Başak Kuru, Vice Director of Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe logistics operations on-site. In particular, detailed briefings were provided on storage processes, bonded and free warehouse areas, import and export warehouses, forklift operations, sorting systems, and T1 transit documents.

Additionally, the technical visit included discussions on industry and legal aspects, such as the regulations regarding the maximum storage duration in warehouses and the penalties applicable in case of exceeding these limits.

Through this technical visit, students gained the opportunity to evaluate the operational aspects of logistics processes from a holistic perspective and to become familiar with industry practices up close.

As Beykoz University, we continue to prioritize such hands-on activities that allow our students to receive education closely connected to the industry.

We would like to thank the officials of Mirlog Global Logistics for their contributions and hospitality.
