Within the scope of the Ship Agency course in the Maritime and Port Management Program at Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics, Melek Akagündüz, Head of Foreign Trade Operations and Product Management at Burgan Bank, shared valuable insights into foreign trade processes from a banking perspective with our students.
During the course, the information and field experiences she provided—particularly regarding the bill of lading and other foreign trade documents—offered significant contributions to our students.
Thanks to this event, first-year students had the opportunity to connect their theoretical knowledge with industry practices and gain a closer understanding of the financial aspects of foreign trade operations.
As Beykoz University, we continue to integrate industry professionals into our courses to support our students’ practice-based learning experiences.
