Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics
The “Student–Industry Meeting” event, organized by Beykoz University Vocational School to bring students together with professionals from the business world and to shed light on their career journeys, was successfully held.
The event, which attracted strong interest from students, hosted three distinguished guests specializing in information technologies, financial infrastructures, and the insurance sector. During the panel, M. Fatih Özyalçın, Founder and Director of Sentitel Information Technologies; Candan Çelik, Crypto Resilience Engineer and Product Owner at Garanti BBVA Financial Companies; and Hüsnü Apak, Group Manager of IT Systems and Infrastructure Management at Viennalife Pension and Life Insurance, shared their experiences with the students.
As part of the event, where future technologies and career opportunities were discussed, the speakers provided insights into some of today’s most critical topics, including IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, crypto assets, data security, and financial systems. They also offered valuable advice on employer expectations from new graduates, internship opportunities, and career planning, while sincerely answering students’ questions.
Emphasizing the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical field experience, the event served as a highly productive platform for knowledge sharing for students.
