A Technical Visit to Turkish Technic with Our Logistics Program Students

Within the scope of the “Occupational Health and Safety Risk Management” course conducted under the Logistics Program of Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics, our students paid a technical visit to the Turkish Technic Sabiha Gökçen Campus.

During the visit, many critical processes were examined on-site, ranging from receiving procedures to smart warehouse systems, and from material flow to maintenance operations. Our students had the opportunity to observe how risk management is implemented in the aviation sector in a real-world environment.

Throughout the technical visit, students gained significant insights into topics such as smart warehouse and automation systems, hazardous material management, human–machine interaction and operational risks, as well as safety practices specific to aviation maintenance processes.

Thanks to this experience, students were able to relate their theoretical knowledge to practical applications, while also enhancing their awareness in identifying risks in advance, evaluating processes holistically, and developing a strong sense of work discipline.

We would like to thank the Turkish Technic family for this valuable experience, which stands as a strong example of university–industry collaboration.
