Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics
Students of the Maritime and Port Management Program carried out a technical visit to Tuzla Viaport Marina on April 29, 2026. The visit provided an opportunity to observe industry practices on site and gain first-hand experience. Within the scope of the visit, our students were welcomed by marina officials and attended a comprehensive presentation about the facility.
During the presentation, detailed information was shared regarding the marina’s structure, operational activities, and service processes. Afterwards, students visited the piers, areas where sailboats and motorboats are moored, service points for boat owners, as well as storage and office areas, gaining practical, on-site insights.
Throughout the technical visit, the fundamental equipment and operational processes required in marina management were discussed, while the importance of communication and the sensitivity of customer relationship management were particularly emphasized. The students had a productive visit that contributed significantly to their professional development through sectoral experience.
