Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics
A sector–student meeting was held within the Foreign Trade Program of Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics as part of the “Customs Procedures” course conducted by Lecturer Semanur Yalçın.
As part of the event, Customs Consultant and Trainer Hüseyin Coşar, who is also the Head of the Training Commission of the Istanbul Association of Customs Consultants (İGMD), met with students and shared important insights on current practices and professional processes in the customs sector.
During the talk, topics such as customs procedures, customs duties, and penalty regulations were discussed through real industry examples. Students had the opportunity to learn how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice, while also gaining information about common mistakes in the sector, key points to consider, and professional experiences.
The event aimed to provide students with direct interaction with industry representatives and to help them develop a practice-oriented perspective. The meeting, which attracted great interest from students, concluded interactively with a Q&A session.
