Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics
As part of the Student-Industry Meetings organized within the Foreign Trade Program of Beykoz Logistics Vocational School, Eylem Göçmen, Legal Consultancy Group Head at Allianz Türkiye, met with our students.
Organized within the scope of the Basic Law course conducted by instructor Yusuf Küçük, the event focused on the concept of unfair competition, which holds a significant place in the business world. During the session, Eylem Göçmen provided students with comprehensive information on the definition of unfair competition, practices and behaviors that may lead to it, and the legal risks businesses may encounter. The topic was further illustrated through examples based on advertising practices, while the fundamental differences between unfair competition law and competition law were also discussed.
Bringing together theoretical knowledge and industry experience, the event offered students the opportunity to ask their questions directly to an expert in the field. The interactive meeting contributed to students’ broader understanding of the relationship between law and the business world.
