Beykoz Vocational School of Logistics
A Collaboration and Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Beykoz Logistics Vocational School of Beykoz University and the Liquid and Bulk Products Carriers Association (LİKİTDER) to strengthen university–industry collaboration and enhance interaction between academia and the logistics sector. The signing ceremony took place on July 8 at the Beykoz University Rectorate Campus.
Representing LİKİTDER at the ceremony were Yusuf Tetik, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Muhammet Çil, Member of the Board of Directors, and Ayhan Özekin, General Manager of the Association.
Representing Beykoz University were Assist. Prof. Nesli Çankırı, Director of the Beykoz Logistics Vocational School, Assist. Prof. Başak Kuru, Deputy Director, Assist. Prof. Ahmet Selçuk Başarıcı, Deputy Director, and Lecturer Yusuf Gökhan Yıldız, a faculty member of the Logistics Program.
Under the scope of the protocol, the parties aim to enhance internship opportunities and workplace-based vocational training for students, organize joint training and certificate programs, and collaborate on career events, seminars, conferences, and sector-oriented projects. In addition, LİKİTDER member companies and their employees will be able to benefit from various educational programs offered by Beykoz University under the advantages provided through the protocol.
The protocol is expected to contribute to the development of a qualified workforce that meets the needs of the logistics sector, provide students with greater industry experience, and establish a strong and sustainable collaboration between academia and professional practice through joint projects.
